- This intake does not have a breather port. We offer an SM spec Airtec Motorsport breather kit (pictured) to suit this intake, or a Ramair 16mm breather filter if you already have a catch can fitted.
We are very pleased to bring you the SM direct route intake kit for the Z20LEx engines! This includes cars such as the Astra H VXR and Sri Turbo, the Astra G GSI and the Zafira VXR.
Kit includes
SM 80mm direct route intake pipe (brushed ally or satin black aluminium elbow, black, blue or red silicone elbow and coupler)
Stainless Jubilee Clips
MAF sensor extension loom (optional)
Ramair Proram Air Filter
Kit will fit the following vehicles
- Vauxhall Astra H VXR
- Vauxhall Astra H SRI 2.0T (with 90mm MAF conversion)
- Vauxhall Zafira VXR
- Vauxhall Astra G GSI (with 80mm MAF conversion)
- Other Z20LEx vehicles (not 100% confirmed)
We also have a 90mm Hybrid version of this intake for Ko4/6 Hybrid set ups.
This kit is everything you need to upgrade the intake on your Z20 Turbo Vauxhall. After owning these cars for years ourselves, and having experienced a few different styles of intakes, we have ended up coming up with our own design that we believe to be the best of both worlds.
Our intake pipe is half aluminium and half silicone. This allows you to fit the kit to your turbo correctly, without sitting too high and hitting the bonnet or having a less than ideal silicone join to the turbo inlet pipe. You end up with a perfect fitting intake pipe that works great with an open cone filter.
The aluminium elbow not only looks great, in either a brushed or satin black finish, but it also enhances sound.
You can choose to have your intake kit supplied with what we deem the best cotton pleated filter on the market, the Ramair Proram. We personally use these on our own cars, having made the swap from the highly regarded AEM filter. They look fantastic, finished with black aluminium ends, sound great, and are cleanable and reusable.
You can of course also spec your intake pipe with no filter at all!
